Working with Blue sky

Working with Blue sky

There are lots of jobs out there.  There are only a few life-changing experiences and being part of the Blue sky team can give you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a child.

Blue sky team members take on an awesome responsibility - to help children and youth who need trusted adults to care for them, and about them.  From helping with homework to talking about “what’s on your mind”, child and youth care workers build relationships that help build strengths - they are the core of everything we do.  Our team of support staff includes maintenance, administration, accounting and management employees who all work to help Blue sky be able to respond effectively to the changing needs of children and families.

Blue sky employees are unionized under the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE).

Why we love what we do

“It's very rewarding to work with a company that shares the same goals as I do. I enjoy working together with families and other professionals to bring the children and young people in our care back to where they belong…..with their mom and dad!.”
-  Amanda, Child and Youth Care Worker

“There is no greater pleasure than knowing we have the opportunity help the children and families that we work with on a daily basis.”
-  Greg, Program Manager
